UCSF recently celebrated Match Day on March 17, 2017. The UCSF MSTP is thrilled to announce the residency matches for our 2017 graduates.
"The First Nationwide Survey of MD/PhDs in the Social Sciences and Humanities" was just published, authored by Seth M. Holmes, Jennifer Karlin, Scott D. Stonington, and Diane L. Gottheil. Scott Stonington and Seth Holmes are both alumnus of UCSF's MSTP, and Jennifer Karlin is a current UCSF resident. Seth is also an Associate Professor of Public Health and Medical Anthropology at UC Berkeley and is the co-director of the MD/PhD Joint UCSF/UCB Graduate Program in Medical Anthropology.
UCSF's school of medicine received top rankings nationally in 2018's U.S. News & World Report survey of best graduate schools, ranked in the top five schools in the nation.

It was announced this week that 15 of the first cohort of investigators in the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub will be UCSF faculty, one of whom is Hiten Madhani, MD, PhD, who graduated from our MSTP program in 1995. Dr. Madhani is also currently on our MSTP Council.
