The Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is in its 46th year of continuous NIH support (2023-24). The mission of the program is to train the next generation of physician-investigators by offering a rigorous, integrated, and supportive educational experience leading to both the MD and PhD degrees.
